I can't believe I missed this. You don't have to pay license fees to develop for iOS and Android anymore

Yea, this is why you see everyone in their forums now making android games, I kinda hate android ios games though.

you don't have to pay for working/developing and making those companies earn even more money? lol good argument, lets start develope for them

How would they earn more money? Now they have to rely on people paying for Unity Pro ($3000 for ios or android) (which no indie developer can afford) and companies with $100,000+ turnover.

If anything they'll lose more money because there's no more indie developers having to pay for their $300 licenses anymore. It's like if Adobe decided to make Photoshop free.

It depends how you look at it, I think that it's a bit more complex than that. More people will use the program that is for sure, however when it comes time to publish their game they will still be as likely to purchase the full version to remove the watermark and use advanced features such as shadows. Either way I'm sure that they're in the position to do whatever they like, and they will be fine if income goes down a little.
