okay so i have a sony vaio with windows 8..unfortunatly i did not come with a disc drive
but any way
windows 8 imo is horriable!
the computer is all touch screen and what not
but the question is how would i and could i wipe windows8 and and put xpsp3 or windows 7 on the machine?

i'm not up to date with the latest technology, but i would use an external disk drive and use a bootable xp or win7 disk.

dunno if you can do it via usb drive or mounted drive or whatnot.

would it comply with the machine as well if i did that? dont want to shoot my pc in the foot haha was also thinking the virtual machine route

This can be done USB Just have to format a drive with a Windows ISO and make it boot-able.
