I want to make a game app for phones.

Which kind of phone?

You'll for sure need a brain and some hands. Probably a keyboard attached to a computer.
Maybe some internets, oh and t3h g00gl3s.


But seriously, do you know how to program at all? or is this just something you want to do out of no where?

since you're learning to make a website anyway, you can just combine it with phonegap to minimize the learning curve.

Android for now. Plan on going to Iphone after.

If you want to make native android apps, you need to know Java and xml

do you want to be like evryone else & re-crop a game? use styncl or a basic game editor, If you want to actually build a new game & new concept you would need to know a lot about java IDE, PHP/Ruby & graphic animation to build you're own characters\,levels etc. if you want to make $$$ Make you're own style of game 100% original or at least 60% original
