Anyone know of a way to track my stolen laptop? I filed a police report and reported it to dell but now idk what to do. The cops and dell both said they can't really do anything except wait for someone to call them.... Which is the dumbest thing I've ever heard. But I was wondering if anyone knew how to track ip addresses used by the PC or something crazy.

you would have to have the mac address

easiest way:
if they every log onto your skype or steam, or something else that communicates with others under your account name
use wireshark, call them
grab ip

track them by ip
