I'm looking around at some of the projects people have done. Apparently some guy uses it to control a paintball gun turret. Anyone here do any projects with it?

For those who don't know, it's a small 25$/35$ computer

i dont own one but i can see a few uses for this.

could make a handheld rom emulator or a small portable rom box.

could also use it has a hardware backdoor in someones network lol.

one thing ive wanted to try though is a self sustained tomato or ddwrt router that runs off batteries/wireless and allows me to ssh into it/vpn from it. although routers dont have much processing power. could just crack a network drop the router in a hole or something with its antenna above ground and do silly stuff lol.

another good use for a pi i wanted to do was a robot. make it control servos and such and make a battle bot that destroys shit.

Why get this, when you can just get an A13 that's twice as powerful for the same price?

No, a13 is the soc that uses ARM Cortex-A8 processor, the raspberry uses the ARM11, which is half the speed as the Cortex-A8. The A13 also has 512mb ram, while the raspberry has 256
