Hey guys,

So I had this assignment that was late, so I didn't do it. I go to school for 8 hours a day (for co-op/placement) and then I work night shifts to support my parents because they are sick. The teacher said that I could hand it in yesterday but I had absolutely no time to finish it. Is there a way for me to send an email from a past date/time. I want to send the email from today but make it look like I sent it yesterday. PLEASE any of you! If you can help me I will donate forum gold because without this I may not graduate :(

Thanks guys!

no there is not. times are generated when the email is received at the other end. (at least for what the other people see) you could try forging the mail header but i dont think that will help in your situation.

I dont necessarily need the message to be received at a certain time, I need to to show that it was OUT of my box at a certain time. When they received it is regardless because I can argue that. But when I sent it is a different story and my professor will not argue with my statement.

You can't do it. Just tell your professor the truth and hope he'll be lenient.
