I'm going to buy a cryptography book so I wanted to know what you guys think is a good or the best cryptography book in your opinion.

I know very little about cryptography so I'm not looking for anything too advanced.

By looking at books on amazon and their reviews I've come up with a few possibilities. I'm leaning more towards the Cryptography in C and C++ one atm. Opinions?

• Introduction to Algorithms (MIT Electrical Engineering and Computer Science)
• The Mathematics of Ciphers: Number Theory and RSA Cryptography
• Handbook of Applied Cryptography (Discrete Mathematics and Its Applications)
• Cryptography in C and C++ [Hardcover]

Thanks for link, these seems like good ones. I'll have to do some research on Bruce Schneier.

I think I'm going to order his book, Applied Cryptography. Has great reviews and seems comprehensible at beginner's level.



I created an account so I'll begin watching them soon.

Gonna watch them while I'm waiting for my book to come that way it will hopefully be easier to understand and pick up on things.

I'll let you know how they are once I finish tho
