what are some good sites that i can use for making my own personal website?

use wordpress if it to hard to make a local server to opload the files then just find a subdomain then just opload there and learn about that way

well if you dont want to learn then look at plenty of free websites like wix.com, and website themes.

If thats not what you want then consider looking at learning web design starting with html and css.

of course if you need help with anything just post here and im sure plenty of us can fix and correct your coding.

actually I am learning and the reason I'm asking is because I need to make a site to show on my resume upon job opportunities; and thanks for the replies.

edit, i have knowledge of HTML and a little javascript. I'm trying to move my career toward web dev.
