I need to make a 3d coordinate system(X,Y,Z) and draw two oscillating waves (one on the ZY plane and one on the XZ plane). The program has to create these two animated waves(including the arrows) and it has to allow the user to control how fast the waves are oscillating

what language are you using? iirc this sounds straight forward in matlab

I am using java
I have never used matlab, but if it's straight forward I might be able to do it in matlab

Yep use matlab or mathematica, java will be a pain in the ass
