i'm having a lot of trouble with a pretty simple assignment that i overcomplicated. please help me unfuck this, lol. it's a wreck.

i'm starting completely fresh in java so it shouldn't be too hard for anyone with experience. lmk if you want to use skype/aim, pm's are probably shitty for this

i'm pretty desperate right now, all i need to know is what is causing it not to run. it won't crash. it just asks for input and stays "running" forever. i checked and it's not a problem with a while loop.

This isn't the trade forum where there are a thousand posts per hour. This forum only has a few regulars who know enough to help. Of them, the odds they're on at the specific time you are aren't so great. And not all of them will get on skype/aim to help you. I certainly won't.

Well, begin doing simple things with java and you're fine.
I commend you to begin with solving regular problems that are related to your real life.
For example - I'm a student, I have a schedule. Sometimes this schedule changes. I want to know if my schedule has changed. Write a program that helps me to do that.

Post at least main idea of your assignment and tell us what is the difficulty for you in it.
