I love iOS programming and using design programs on mac
but i love windows styles and feel overall, more comfortable with windows bases computers. also the price of a windows based computer.

Go ahead and learn to program for Unix as well

Or just use a language that works with each os with little to no change, ie python and java
If you're doing applications, look into Unity, uses javascript (more like unity script) and c#

you're limited by your own desires and motivation. if you want to program for iOS, then do it. comfort will come as you're more used to it.

Java would definitely solve your dilemma!
