is there any tutorials that are any decent involving sprites and small world maps. also with the XNA framework is it possible to port projects to the xbox 360 as well as computer. and for porting to the 360 is there any special license to distribute games and/or any way to put a game for download on a website for people to put onto a usb stick to install.

also anyone know of a good program to create sprites or do i need to do them all by hand in photoshop.

also you can skip the "if you want to start programming games" part and just post some info pretty please :3 im pretty well versed in a few language including C and C#.net and pascal (delphi to be more exact)

also is there any open source packages i can download that already have a sprite rpg like framework created using XNA or would i need to start from scratch.

im going to go back to googling some more but any info will help

thank you

found an XNA tile engine and quest engine that may fit what i need. id still like some more sources. also discovered that windows pc code differs from the xbox ported code in which you have to specifically code for one platform or the other, but the difference of the two i do not know. it might be possible to build for both platforms with little code changes idk.

still dont know how to port and submit to xbox to test and release and such.

anyone know of any good 2d engines that are already made that allow for single large over world maps to be made and then smaller maps for dungeons to be made? would be great if there is one that i can add all my quests items sprites and other goodies into.
