I don't see this happening. Programming, especially larger projects such as games, is not just about making code compile. It's about the core architecture of your project, for instance the design choices you make, as well as your optimization. You need to add some sort of graphics on top of that.
If you jump head-first with no experience into a project like this, you're going to contemplate suicide whenever you find out you need to refactor, well, anything.
Start off easy with "boring" stuff that will get you comfortable in c++, and read up on software theory to go with it. If you aim for your first program to be a game, you're going to abandon it before you even get started.
