Hey guys so I have VMWare and I wanted to set up virtual machines for win xp win 7 and ubuntu.

How or where do I get the vmdks for each?

you need to create them from legitimate copies of winxp, win7, ubuntu

create virtual machine
put cd/dvd in
run virtual machine - it will boot into cd/dvd

Oh right in VMware? Can I take the CD out afterwards?

you can remove the CD/DVD after the operating system is installed.
