so i have a pair of speakers and a headset ( steelseries siberia v2 ) the headset is connected via USB

is there a way to get sound from speakers while having the headset plugged in? ( just to use as a mic ) ?

go to your tasktray, right click on the sound icon, left click on playback devices, then right click on the speakers you want to hear out of, and select 'set as default device'... if you can't find your speakers, right click in that window and put checkmarks by 'show disabled deviced' and 'show disconnected devices'

now i've encounterd a new stupidass problem, neither my speakers or headset sound shows up at the sound icon regardless if volume is at max ( i can hear it just fine ) but when xsplit does not capture my ingame sound for whatever reason

anyone got a solution to this?

/e and no all the volume is set to max and i can still hear the sound fine
