Hi everyone,

I launched my new website today. First let me tell you what is exactly is and stuff:

The original idea was to make some kind of rss reader, that could search for specific keywords and store those things found in a database, well that is exactly what is is, but slightly different tho.

When someone enters something in the search box, it breaks down the sentence into keywords, checks if those keywords are in the database, if not put m in there, and also does a search ofcourse.

If there are no search results, the new keywords are added into the database tho. Now thats where it gets nice, i have a cronjob that randomly picks out a number of new keywords and a random amount of rss feeds for the database, and adds those to the database. This repeats indefinetly, thus always finding and adding new content the website, without ever having to look at it :D

You can ask yourself, whats the purpose of this and where can i use it for. In short, it's good for nothing, just more spam on the web, and a nice php programming achievement for myself :D

If you used 42 as search input, 42 is now stored in the database and will go through the cronjob to find new comments matching 42, big chance there will be some results soon :p

once they are added you will find it instantly

what does your search query parser look like? it sounds more keyword based than natural language based.

the parser is keyword based, i just strip out the most common english words from the search string.

My next plan is to imrove the search results and show a bit more related comments

Really good idea, but it doesn't work that well yet. If I were you, I would add a piece of text that says BETA on my site, so I could use that as an excuse until I worked out the kinks.

I typed in, "how to run" as a test. It returned an article about riding bicycles.
