I am a total pc noob, so forgive me if this is a dumb question :P

Is it safe to link my traceroute to someone else?

you're not asking a question that makes sense.

I was having some troubles with youtube videos not loading properly. I asked for help to a fellow D3 colleague. He asked me to go to cmd and tracert-d, which showed a list of ip's with MS. He told me to copy it and show it to him. My question is, can he hack me or something with the information I provided?

well of course your traceroute contains your IP address, and this contains the general area in which you live (like major city/part of state kind of information). If your behind a nat router your pretty safe from someone connecting directly to your pc, and its unlikely your hosting any services that would accept a connection if they could reach it.
