i have bin using Norton internet security for 3 years now im currently using norton internet security 2012 i here its a resource hog that very well may be true but i have never delt with that sort of thing

since i have a high end pc not even on my single core 2gig ram or laptop but i also here thay dont do their job correctly that dont stop all malware etc is that true?

i have not had a problem since i have had it everything had been pretty good etc and if it is true is Microsoft Security Essentials good? i here its free and is pretty good lmk

wrong forum, but yes, MSE is all you should need these days.

NO. never run two antivirus suites at the same time, it can cause crashes.. instability.. think of it like two detectives butting heads while investigating a case (the case being your files)

MSE is better then norton anyway.

free version: MSE, and download malware bytes for weekly scanning.

paid version: buy Webroot/Nod32/Kaspersky (recommendation in that order), malwarebytes is still recommended to run a scan with if you feel you might have been compromised.

There is a kind of Norton 360 for 3 PCs.They can all do their job correctly,and stop all malware.Also ,you can see there is a suit of Norton 360 for mac.
