Well, you must find math (not all of it) easy. Sometimes it takes a very long time.
I'm only a sophomore in alg. 2 (derp) and my math teacher showed me calc 2. Said it's somewhat easy just long.
10th grade? well that's why; you haven't seen real math yet, and you probably never will unless you become a math major. calc 2 is just basic calculations. if you wanna see real math, look into proofs. took 350 years of the most brilliant mathematicians in the world to prove fermat's last theorem, vastly expanding a good chunk of other fields in order to get the tools to solve it. but i'm sure it's easy for you, it'll just take a while. you can beat 350 years right?

As for your other answers, I guess you're right. I'm just so interested in having something like this around my home in the future when I move out on my own.
5-10 years from now, i'm sure phone apps will do that for you, if it doesn't already.
/edit: here's a few math problems for you. you'll get a million bucks for each one you solve. how's that for motivation? a dude was awarded (and declined) the Field's Medal for solving one of them, which is the equivalent of a Nobel Prize in the math world
