any idea how to break a rar password??

this rar cracker dosnt make any progress

only way is to bruteforce it.

there is or at least was a faster method but you needed part of the files contents that was unencrypted by rar to break the password.

bruteforce it lol...can take 1milion years even if i can do 3000p/s

google the file name.

john the ripper (patched with -jumbo)

Try wordlists then bruteforce.

Cracking passwords for weeks is nothing uncommon.

i am doing this on 4 very good computers and todays is the 4th day... still no pass... each comp has its own alpa to start on so that the total time is devided in 4... still not a single % progress

are you using gpu cracking? should look into it.

any way you look at it its going to take for ever so either give up or bare through it.
