I just changed by batteries (one at a time and quickly) and the ram cleared (the first battery was okay, but it cleared when I was changing the second). I have a few questions:

1.) Is there any way to change the batteries where I won't lose all my programs?
2.) Is there a way to copy my programs to the computer so if the ram clears again I can also put them back onto the calculator? If so could someone please explain how to do that. I do have the cable that connects the calculator to the computer, I just don't know what to do from there or if I need to download anything first.
3.) (this is not very important, I'm mostly just curious) Is there any way to write a program on the computer that I then put on the calculator? Because typing on the computer is a lot faster than on the calculator.

Thanks for the help

yes-make sure the backup battery is working, they are around 50 cents on e-bay (kinda like the watch battery under the screw in the battery place)
yes-there is a program to do this
and

You can also archive programs before replacing batteries - archived programs won't be deleted during a RAM reset but can't be used until they are un-archived. I don't remember the exact steps, but it's something like 2nd -> +/MEM -> Archive, then hitting PRGM and selecting the program you want.
