can anyone tell me how i can effectively clean my computer?
ive had it for about a year and a half but havent really cleaned or done anything to it since then.
ive recently defragmented and disk clean up.... but im sure theres a better way to clean up the computer
and ive cleaned the inside of the computer and made the fans a WHOLE LOT quieter just like wen i first bought it.

It's a free program.
Will help free up space, clean cookies, uninstall unwanted programs, and clean registry.

Don't dl crappy programs that just clutter your system. Delete everything manually. Get ComboFix and run a scan to make sure you're completely clean.
The only thing a program is ever going to do that you can not do quickly yourself is clear your registry, and then it can screw things up.

CCleaner is a small program that doesn't clutter anything. I've never had a problem with the registry cleaner.
It gives you an option to back up the registry before doing the cleaning anyway.

I've never heard of ComboFix...
