I am currently re-building my portfolio site, and wanted to do it in flash catalyst, looking for someone who is not a novice and can actually help, can pay for your time and efforts, in fg, d3 igg, or however you would like to be compensated im sure we can work something out.

Flash Catalyst cs5 is what im working in, have the photoshop document ready, just having some issues making the navigation functional. Its a unique site that ive never seen done before hence, why im making it my porfolio site, gotta catch someones eye, but can't do that without your help.

I am a graphic/web designer so not using code is kind of an odd concept for me but flash catalyst seems to be the way I have to go for this idea. Please any any all help will be appreciated, please contact me via pm or post.

Thanks so much!

Correct me if I'm wrong but a "portfolio" site is generally something used to show off YOUR talents, not another persons?

/e: Maybe ask about specific navigation problems and work through each problem until it works to your liking?

So what are the "issues making the navigation functional"?

Lol this is all of my work the site is different than others, imagine an iMac as the holster, and the navigation is the icons on the bottom, having issues with the clickable/roll over actions inside of catalyst to make it work right

Flash sites. Ew. I don't know why you would do that, either. You can do all of that easily with jQuery.

If he is the designer, that's all he has to show off. Someone else can develop the website for him.

it's been done before -- great idea, the implementation will be tricky and unoriginal

do some javascript/jquery.
flash is bad for making sites, load times are too long and mostly everything you can do in flash can be done with jquery.

I wouldn't use Flash Catalyst, looks like a piece of shit and has stopped being developed by Adobe. I know Flash well, but you should use html/jQuery (Flash doesn't work on iOS devices either)

Flash is dying and it's a good thing.
