"programming" isn't a collection of languages. it is not a set. as a prefix to "language" it may be used to describe a particular category or type of language (which is not the same as a collection of languages, by the way).
as a word in and of itself, it has nothing to do with languages.
as a shirt, it just completely doesn't work, because if anything, it conveys that the wearer doesn't know anything about programming at all, and given the point of such a shirt, i find that incredibly ironic.
which leads me to ask: do you have any fucking clue what programming even is? why are you in this forum?
I think the shirt implies:
- "<insert programming language>, motherfucker. do you speak it?"
when you say someone is "programming" - you are referring to the act of "speaking" a programming language - and speaking implies entering "instructions" onto your PC. you are conveying your understanding of the language in the form of written code.
You could say, "I am speaking English motherfucker. Do you speak it?"
"Assembly motherfucker. Do you speak it?"
