I've googled/searched for quite some bit for a guide on how to make a standard iphone application but all i could find were threads on site suggestion for d2jsp having an app and that's not what I'm looking for.

Could someone redirect me to a tutorial?
Not sure if this is the right place but I've been looking around for a while with no luck.

I must have added another keyword that screwed up the search
all of the searches that came up for me were about how to build up "hype" for an app before releasing it, how to think of good ideas for an app that isn't already out there, etc. etc.
they seemed to dodge my search

well, that's actually kind of true - at least for finding obscure/uncommon stuff. it's more a matter of patience and persistence than anything else though.

yes technique is actually necessary in finding some stuff that's not wide-spread on the internet.

I agree, I myself hate when people ask me questions that could have easily been googled.
Problem is that I went searching through the multiple pages that my google search turned up for me and didn't think about re-wording the search since I thought it was fine.
