My teacher's slides are useless and he doesn't seem to like his job too much. I'm actually interested in Haskell after hearing the introduction for it.

Anyone has a good tutorial online or a book that they can recommend?

whyyyyyyyyyyyyyy

edit: also, from a glance, the language doesn't look very complicated. why not just write some code in it and see what you run into?

Well I'm getting graded for it so I guess I have to know it somehow xD.

No good tutorials anywhere, the syntax is retarded. The language itself is creepy as hell. Nothing like Java, C/ C++, PHP etc.

It's not retarded, and not creepy, and be thankful it's nothing like PHP :P

it's just totally different language, it's 100% functional. All of them have kinda weird syntax if you're not used to it.

The syntax isn't retarded, it's not an imperative language. Read about functional languages and learn Scala or Haskell. Scala is much more popular and has a larger userbase than Haskell, so that might be helpful.
