I'm looking to bypass my router internet timer my landlord set hes set it so at 12am-5pm there is no internet access to my xbox or my computer i don't care about the xbox really but i could use my laptop working during the day to reply to emails and do my job searching
i don't have access to the routers login screen as i don't know the password but i was hoping there was some sort of way to hide my ip and that might bypass it ? or change my computers name to bypass it ?
i also dont have access to the router it's locked in his room but i do have access to the modem. i've hardwired myself in for the past few days but sitting on a cold basement floor is not very comfortable.

my iphone works all day so its not all internet connections are shut off.

check mac address of your phone and set your computer's mac to this one

im not that good with the internet lol

so it seems you can only do the lan with windows 7 not the wifi is that correct ?

simply change your mac address as well as set a static ip different then your current one. although this will not work if he set a rule for denying everything 24/7 and only allowing your mac during xx hours.

you could make a simple perl brute forcer using my simple method.

get the md5 of the failed login page
input password
if md5 if current page != failed login page md5
you have correct password

WORKS WONDERS FOR BRUTE FORCING WHEN YOURE IN A PINCH LOL

edit:: and seeing that most routers dont really have a way to lock itself on failed attempts you can run through a 1-10 charset within a day or two
