I been reading these threads in this section and am finding it pretty mind blowing how you all can actually understand wtf it is that (to me) looks like a bad game of scrabble. And latley i been growing really tired of playing the same games over and over so i would like to expand my knowledge by (first time) dipping into the world of programming. problem i have so far is I dont know where to begin. like at all.. lol i know how to use microsoft word, notepad etc. but im pretty clueless where to start, n which path to take. any suggestions?

Considering you have to come here to ask for help, you are a lost cause. Seriously - you won't get anywhere reasonable in the world of programming with the way you think.

Now, seriously, what do you expect by comming here? That people will teach you everything over a forum? The right attitude would be to search for some begginers guide, maybe ask a tip if the guide is good, and come here with doubts. You don't need anyone to tell you where to start, google is your friend mate. Also theres a lot of threads where people ask wich language is good to start, so you can see what people replyed and make your conclusions.

NOW, if someone googles for this string, he also finds this JSP-thread, where the googling person would not find any information xD
