I have been using Drupal for making sites for a while now. I've created quite a few with it. However, a recent employee(someone I hired for graphics designing purposes) has told me Joomla is better.

In your opinion which content management system is the best, in general, if you are a website designer.

Using Joomla atm, It sucks

drupal > wordpress > joomla

Wordpress in my opinion. <-- This is because I believe blogs are easy to design.

Drupal / Joomla are strong and weak in specific areas.

I like Joomla a bit better than Drupal, but not for web design.

Wordpress is made to be extremely user friendly so that anyone, including people who aren't tech savvy, can use it with ease. As a result, it suffers from not as much flexibility as Drupal. Drupal has a steeper learning curve but is much more powerful. Joomla, in my opinion, sucks and isn't worth your time.
