when you press it, it takes a picture of the screen obviously. Well i prefer the button to copy it and save it as an image when i press the button instead of my having to take two steps to do this.

the first right answer will receive 100 fg

iirc there's a browser extention that'll print screen your browser, save it, upload it, and put the url in your clipboard. dont remember the name though

for general purpose i'm sure you can just write a macro that does what you want. or use one of the other progs out there

I haven't found a solution for your idea yet, but you can use localhostr uploadr, interact with it, choose a window to capture and done - uploaded with url in clipboard. Supposedly hotkey will be in for v2.

good option, too bad there's no 3rd hotkey for capturing only the active window. :(
the availability to capture things that require hover is amazing though.
