I would like to know the difference between the gt550m 2 gig and a gtx 550m 2 gig.

I know the gtx is suppose to be better but why??

Why don't you ask in the correct forum to start with? This is a programming forum, not hardware.

Gtx will have a higher clock speed and higher memory speed aswell as different memory type (DDR3 vs DDR5)

I don't know about the "x" difference in this context of 550 series but overall that's it
