Long story short

Quitted gambling and got professional help for my long time addiction.
As we all know, boredom and idle time is devils workshop so my addiction therapist asked me "what do i enjoy and like to do as hobby?"

It really got me thinking. The questiond led me to pc. I have had pc for 25years but sold it couple years ago when my son was born, needed the room for "playroom". Actually my gambling addiction got way worse after that.

So. Im thinking of building a pc. My knowledge is around 7-8 in scale of 1-10, but software, programming and coding i never tried to learn as it felt like a "step too big".

Is there aome easy way for beginners to start "tinkering". Some apps, guides, hell, even kids tools to get into it? C++, python, something else? I dont really know anything about that side but would like to learn.

Thanks in advance for tips!

Use a simplified game engine like construct 3

Lots of options to get started making your own 2d game and you can eventually export to play on a website or your phone

Recently had my left nut removed and finished chemo

having cancer at 34 isnt fun... but neither is dealing with or trying to replace an addiction.....

what would be end result of the vision you for-see?

ive written a few 2d games for mobile devices, and learned some basics that get me by..... but i too would be interested in anything that anyone feels like shooting some directional information or tips that would be handy...

learning the very basics of linux and mobile phone device RE would be a godsend xD

Youtube tutorials, udemy.com is also good for entire courses.....

I'd suggest buying a udemy course for your preferred language.... after that, try harvards CS50 free intro to CS course
