So the last 3-4 months I have been chugging away at an idea to change how rental homes are done in the United States. We have met with a few VC firms and a lot of them want "active consumers" on our app and or website before they invest. We have a few more meeting for an angel investor next week as well.

So far our traction is as follows.

Trademarked the name
Working figma demo
Market research surveys
Networking with other SaaS founders who have had exits or acquisitions and they all know this solves a massive need in the market.
Finalized pitch deck after 10 iterations

I'd love to explain the idea in more detail to whomever may be interested we are looking for someone to join the team from an equity perspective and help code or someone who wants to be paid to help code. We have a CTO (full stack web developer day job) but he himself cannot do this in a timely manner so we are trying to explore alternative options.
