Libraries don't count as "built in" ...they more like mods

Point is, OP has a homework assignment to convert Roman Numerals to ASCII, ergo, it's not a built in function, or it would be a kinda useless homework assignment. It would be Call function (or w/e they call it today) and then Return (or w/e they call it today).
If any coders were on when he asked, I wouldn't have even posted.
I've had to look at a lotta code over the years..pretty much looks to me that all that's really changed is the syntax and the efficiency...probably have better debuggers as well. Now I couldn't write code today, but I can guesstimate how it needs to go, pretty much.
That's why I referred to my post #6 as shorthand
