Wow, this thread has gotten a wayyyy better response than I thought it would. I really appreciate all of you guys trying to help. I will diligently read the sources you guys post because I did skip the extreme intro course so I am a little lost as far as what things entirely mean but not so much what they do. The reason I use floats and things of those nature as opposed to doubles
is that we haven't learned that yet. If you guys can post more good sources to look at for beginners I would definitely read them!
I'd suggest you get to work on your very basics, like data types, functions, and just general knowledge that you can carry with you from one language to the next. Lucky for you, you're on C++ ^^ Once you have a strong grasp of the basics, go learn some OOP and you'll have a solid foundation for diving into most languages!
