What class should I take next semester?

I need one more elective, and I have two choices

1: Intro to Artificial Intelligence

2: Intro to theory of computation

I personally am slightly more interested in #2, although the topics seem quite complex.

Which do you all think would be more useful (I know its a college class and its usefulness is up for debate, but maybe some input?)

The latter is definitely more analytical, I'd have to go with AI, I personally love working with AI

AI, hands down. Machine learning is a big topic in software engineering nowadays.

I would also go with AI.
To me it's extremely interesting, and infinitely challenging.

Yeah, I decided on AI.

Not even sure if I will be taking it or not though.

My internship might last until summer and so I have to make sure I can juggle all these things. (Full course load + that)

saw some examples of rails today. Mind = blown. Seems very useful for doing a personal website.

Suddenly feel like putting ruby on my machine and hacking away.

Fuck Ruby and fuck Rails. Scala and Play are where it's at. Also, 2007 called and they want their framework back. ;)
