Not commenting on the functionality of minkos code, just curious if its using a higher than average number of methods, or is that just me?

On average for what? For a typical hihighchool assignment console app? Prolly.

I'm not sure, I've only started to look at the form of entire programs. It just seemed to me like you could add together 2-3 methods and call it "XdoesSomethingXy", but I was just skimming

basically I jumped into learning java looking at nothing but codebits and only learning "necessities" like don't write string into int, but not form and the difference between indents, or whatever small detail
