Looking for a 1 time payment or free software. No smartphone/tablet apps.
Needs to be PC to PC.

In theory, you can get what you are trying to achive (playing over the Internet using remote access software) but:

1. On the Viewer side (where you gonna sit and play) you must have good incoming bandwidth/speed
2. On the remote side, you must have good outbound speed.
3. Connect directly by IP, not like TeamViewer or Logmein allows you to connect (they always force you to use their servers as intermediaries). To connect directly, your remote computer must be available by a direct external IP address (static or dynamic) from the Internet. If there is a router on the remote side (i.e the computer is behind a router) you must has a port forwarding rule to get to the remote PC.

With that said try something more flexible than TeamViewer. For example, http://www.remoteutilities.com

Thanks for your reply will look into it soon.
My internet speed is one of the best in the U.S., Internet connection it not a problem.
Like I said before I had the trial version of logmein pro and it worked flawless. Not paying $450 a year though, if I don't have to.

what's wrong with remote desktop connection that comes built in to windows?
it's what we use at work

The only reason to get teamviewer or something else is for collaboration. If you're just trying to use a computer remotely and rdp (microsofts remote desktop) isn't good enough, then you may want to rethink what you're trying to accomplish.

Need HD as even the smallest videos would lag on teamviewer and windows remote desktop.
Will not rethink. Might end up paying 450 a year for a good service. Just crazy no one has a free version. Must cost to much time/money.

doesnt cost to much time. it just isnt practical. i could code something in like a couple hours that will take a screen shot of your monitor and compress it and send it down the internet and decompress it and present it but the amount of bandwidth needed unreal.

Just crazy that you expect there to be a free version of something that's not actually easy to do.

what is the setup you're trying to have? if it's video why aren't you streaming it instead of remote viewing?
this just seems dumb
