3-4 days. That seems way too fast! No? You must mean from the perspective of somebody who is already familiar with other coding or is just very quick at learning!

i call bullshit.

theres people that have been doing php for years, that still hasnt mastered everything.

3-4 days is a joke or he didn't think before he posted (which he does alot) /taunt
you can learn the most basics over 4 days though, the stuff that you learn over your beginner php class which spanned over a few weeks for me. php is mostly about repetitive training though (actually which language isn't?) so you'll need to train hard if you want to get the basics down and REMEMBERED in 4 days.

I think the general question is pretty silly though, don't ask for a general time, cause there isn't one. It's a constant evolving language in a constant evolving technology.

So what took you longer than 3-4 days? Only thing that can take longer is memorizing which of 993345345346262345352473 core functions happens to have what order of arguments (mixed hell of needle, haystack vs haystack, needle).

PHP is so ugly, and its so horribly loose. It needs to be so much more strict, its so easy to learn how to do things the bad way simply because it will still run when coded like shit.
