it's just if you really knew what was happening instead of xoring and bit shifting inside the alpha numeric symbol range and claiming it was "ascii" while in reality ascii is every possible character a processor can understand then you would know how much of a un successful troll you are :3

ascii consists of 255 characters and depending how the forum encodes it's strings these characters appear as symbols.

anything sub 32 or higher then 126 (ie the readable range you refer as "ascii") has a chance to appear as symbols although they are all in fact ascii characters.
