In all honesty though, google really is the ultimate tool in the programmers tool box. Pretty much every question a beginner could think of has been answered on sites like SO and W3 etc. Likewise, guides on how to start/etc are also very common as people have begun to notice CS as a lucrative career.

Shit, several people I know IRL are trying to hop on the train super late in the game with zero prior knowledge, using resources like code academy and the midwest LAUNCHCODE initiative.

I used to have pretty big anxiety about programming in general (if you see the start of my faux 'blog' a few posts down, you will see me have melt downs and break downs at the start), but eventually it goes away as you find more ways to solve your problems, and google is your #1 source.

^^agree

@OP,

Many of these posts are made here wondering how/where to start with all the enthusiasm in the world. Truth is you get into it and stressed out that's going to take so long to understand it all and nothing makes sense.. So you have a huge dropping off rate when the enthusiasm settles down. I wish you the best of luck but answering the same question again and again sucks and there aren't any mods who are active here to sticky something it seems. So yeah Google has the answers as well.

And when you are too lazy to google, simply post a new thread in Programmer's Haven about any question you may have- because labatymo is here to spoonfeed you!
