my personal favorite was "posting a topic that was similar to another thread that was already deleted"

I posted a topic but in my post I put a link the mods did not like, so they deleted it and told me what was wrong with it. So I removed the offending link and reposted it and got hit with that.

Sounds more like abuse of power than enforcing rules.
