idk, i kinda know what to do, but kinda dont. Ill probably post what i come up with in a day or so, see what you guys think.

trivial, but you charge around $35 for it :/

from the sound of it, he wanted around 10$ worth. i assume you get a better fg:$ ratio in the donor forum or somewhere else doing side trades.

granted, developers make 25-60$+/hr. and you typical pay more if you're using fg instead of $

Actually, I quite explicitly said $10 - that's a beer or two, depending on where you live. Unfortunately, people seem to think that anyone can get $35 out of 1000fg, when that is true only in the case of the owner of this site.

i think OP meant it in the sense he'd have to pay 35$ to the site to get the 1k to give to you. and 5-10$ for a beer sounds ridiculous o_O

The average price of a pint of beer in a bar here in Poland costs around $2-4, though it's not uncommon to pay 6-7. I hope I don't have to tell you that there are more expensive countries, USA being one of those ;)

What telephone number contains alphabetical letters? Is your professor okay?

Think the way you write (or used to) sms messages on your phone. Now think of the process in reverse.

In which country do you live in?
Alphabetical letters in phone numbers prove to be sometimes more helpful in remembering the telephone
e.g. 1800-fix-comp may be a telephone for a service that fixes computers as opposed to 1800-882-1351 - which do you want to remember? Of course, when you dial it in, you have to do the mapping on the spot which is trivial ^_^

Edit: I figured out a workaround for the current problem im having like 1 minute after posting and working on it for like 30 mins. :/

May post more soon trying to figure things out.

Ok new problem:

I have to figure out the sales profit of a company, its simple enough math

0-$1000 sale = 3% profit
1000.1 - 5000 = 3.5
5.1k - 10k = 4%
10.1k+ = 4.5%

So all i have to do is enter a prompt to let them put in the amount of sales, i then just have to figure out the profit. I have to use the decimal data type, so i am, but its not working.

-----------
{
decimal sales, total, profit;
Console.WriteLine("Enter Sales Amount: ");
sales = decimal.Parse(Console.ReadLine());
{

if (sales == < 1000) sales * 1.03 = total ;

if else (sales == > 1000.1 || < 5000) sales * 1.035 = total;

if else (sales == > 5000.1 || < 10000) sales * 1.04 = total;

if else (sales == > 10000.1) sales * 1.045 = total;

}

profit = remainder - sales;

}

-----------

so what do i have to do to make it work (i know i need more code overall, to display the final profit, etc. but im putting this up asap, and doing the rest that i know how to do, later.
