it actually worked, i even gave him an output i created, but he has windows (lol) and couldn't get ruby to work

oh well you should have let him in on one of our secrets. you know the one... hit ctrl+alt+shift+pageup+scroll lock to have machine magically download the info you are thinking about when you hit the keys... instead of doing it the "hard way" of cutting and pasting one command into a shell....(I'm saying: nuvo, I don't think you could have made it any easier for him).

wow, sorry I even asked... I don't know how to use any of those programs, I've never programmed or anything in my life... I tried getting Ruby to work, asked questions, went through the tutorial and I still couldn't get it to work... can't just assume everyone knows how to use these programs...

you'll find the same answers probably, problem is not us, its you. No one will spoon feed you, not in programming area.
