My plan is to show them the original script I found and show them the changes that were made
I'm sure ill be able to understand the parts that were changed because I have basic css/html knowledge just need help knowing what changes need to be made

What exactly did they ask you for? It seems like the script you are asking for is overkill. If you need to download a known resource there are one line commands to accomplish your task.
