HTML5 and CSS is one thing. Then over course a good bunch of websites like our very own JSP use PHP to code as well.

in my view you could easy learn enough to work with it in a business with out going to school i more say school is if you want to lead it to a higher level
then just web designe but ofc as said before we all learn different

then it isn't wrong what i did her by link to a online course in html css because i have read that it recommend that html css should be the first language then php if someone one day want to make d1jsp :P

I found that Eric Freeman book for begginners with HTML, CSS , XHTML is much more easy to understand and easier to remember.
But that site is very helpfull also.
