I agree with this. My first couple comp sci class we didn't even use a real programming language. It was some bullshit learning language the school wrote so we could spend time understanding the basics... It rly sucked since all I wanted to do was write programs but... Honestly, we learned how to learn a language. I'm confident I could learn any language in a matter of days now.
