Yeah, it goes into good detail. (At least I think so) Comes with a cd rom that has a network emulator (named packet tracer) on it and a bunch of labs that let you actually set up and troubleshoot a network.
I'll sell it for 20 bucks, unless you live somewhere ridiculous and the shipping kills me wallet. If you really want it I'll put it up on eebay. However, I really think you should procure a copy of the pdf version so you can check it out for yourself before you decide. I'd recommend that for any tech-type book. Try before you buy so you don't wind up wasting money.
