How hard is it to learn a program language if you know nothing about it.

Learning a language is pretty straight forward. Learning to program is much harder. Ask yourself how much time you're willing to spend and what your goals are.

For awhile I'd say and my goal really is to maybe start out with a iOS/android game

you don't "start out" with a game. spend a few months learning the basics of the language first then revisit the game idea.

I have been considering beginning learning a programme language, but its a huge task. There's probably lots of people like us out there. I had an idea to start a blog and record my progress as i proceed, I would be interested in reading someone elses experiences online. If you do/are learning a programming language then please start a blog or something and keep me in the loop. I work full time and its a huge task that i just don't know that i can commit to. Just make sure you get a good domain so I can find it easy enough, something like http://www.1and1.com/new-top-level-domains. Hope its going well so far, good job!
