Okay so I am looking to hopefully put a team together in possibly making a new FPS RPG Survival based game as there becoming increasingly popular and who knows maybe we can even have it uploaded to steam and start making some real money on this project... I know a little bit of programming but know more about storylining and or ideas on what to make the game like, If anyone may be interested just let me know, looking for a team of at least 15.. ideas for a base game are also taken to consideration. thank you

So how much are you paying?

I am not paying a dime lol.... the money comes from uploading onto steam.. I'm not hiring no one, I am developing a team that wants money in the long run,, only time and dedication will tell how much money is made doing this

i figure we could start a steam early access hit and work as we go,, and hopefully start making some serious money

1) how do you propose managing a team of 15? people will come and go, delegating responsibility, people's schedules, etc

I have great management skills. and if no one is ready to take on a project that could turn into something very valueable then thats on them... I already have a plot on what the game could be like... thats not being overused like other games.. all these survival games, are zombies, dinosaurs, mutant canibals, and demons... But no one has really thought of a nuclear appocalyptic type survival, and this is what I was thinking.. it will be strictly pvp there will be no PVE in the game. I will buy a server to start on and as the game grows will buy more servers, I plan to handle all the monatary stuff that we will need to spend to get the game online which is why I can't afford to pay people for there work on the game. But as the game sells on steam we will split all income individually... this is strictly mainly for people with free time that that want to create a project and maybe in the long run make some serious cash. I know I am down

So if I was to join your team, and produce code for this team without pay, who owns the code?

If nothing comes of this, do I get to take my code and walk? Or since this is your team, is it your code?

All code will stay with the person who wrote there own code, if you decide to share that is on you, though at times your code may be needed to combine with other parts of the game... you code wont be used without your expressed permission

In that case I will join your team, and write all the code. But you dont get to see any of it until we are ready to launch. Fair?

thats fine,,, But you dont have to write everything my friend thats why I want to develop a team so everyone can do other things... but if you absolutely want to write all the code then thats fine, I can pm to you on what will be needed to be coded,,, now mainly we just need someone that is good with graphic design and terrain design which will probably be the hardest part to this project
